The Narrator of the story, A Minister named Norman McCay,recieves Apocalyptic vision of the Future from a Dying Welsey Dodds the Former hero sandman. The Spectre appears and recruits him to past judgement on the coming superpowered apocalyspe. This is a story of Redemption and vengeance of justice and pain an sacrifice. As it unfolds you realize that theses are not the Heroes we once knew they are mourning consumed by inner rage some are just a shell of their former selves from their Glory Days. Others have been phscologically and chemically unbalanced theses gods have been silienced.
